- Obtain EDI file specifications, File encryption and transmission information from carrier.
- Obtain group/plan structure documents from broker and carrier.
- Review structure documents and perform gap analysis.
- Participate in conference calls with brokers and/or carriers to get clarification on requirements.
- Modify existing export code file or create new code file for new feeds.
- Run test files through validation software, if applicable.
- Create test cases.
- Coordinate testing efforts with carrier.
- Setup the scheduler (FTP, Encryption, Frequency, etc.) for regular production runs.
